Elevator Passion at EDIT Festival on 26th of May!

Elevator Passion stikes again with a bold presence during the EDIT Festival on the 26th of May at the Veerplas in Haarlem.
So, you think you can take a wild guess of what these creative individuals have concocted this time??????
Think of Edit, Film, Music, Interactive Visuals and a 9 meter tall tower (!!) Put those all together and voila- You have the Elevator Passion Interactive Tower!
Picture yourself in "Honey I Shrunk the Kids", in a massive terrain with different stages, a miniature creature amongst the night creatures that make a rare appearance in the daytime. Then, suddenly a film roll appears, with changing images (some that YOU may even get a chance to create during the festival), photographers, games and music- this is what you can expect at this edition of EDIT Festival!
Lisa Kay and Cenk Unis will also be playing at the 365MAG stage so don't forget to check them out also. Below the line-up of the Interactive Tower:
*** INTERACTIVE TOWER ***
11.00 - 12.30: Roy Verschuren
12.30 - 13.30: Alex Thomson
13.30 - 14.45: Camiel Daamen LIVE
14.45 - 16.00: Gia Mellish
16.00 - 17.30: Flohil & Smit
17.30 - 19.00: Marcotix & Volta
19.00 - 20.30: Lolla Tek & Marc Crow
20.30 - 22.00: Dassive
Join the Interactive Tower to participate in the "EDIT on the Fly" where you and your friends can get make over by Arts in Parts, get Photographs taken by Nuno Albuquerque and make your own 3-word edit of life. This will, then, be filmed and projected onto the 9 meter tall tower by ShiTV!

Mmeltt is back with new guest DJs!

** Mmeltt is on for the 3rd round this year. This time we will be trying some different flavors and adding a new sonic spectrum to the mix. For this edition, one of the founders of the Cue Bar temple of mayhem - Johannes - will be behind the decks instead of behind the bar. Roy Verschuren will be playing back-2-back with Cenk Unis and the night will be closed by the lovely Filipa Lazary.**

Amsterdam is one of the most densely populated cities in the world, which simultaneously manages to squeeze in approximately 157 different nationalities in its tiny surface area. In the next edition of mmeltt you will be privileged to get a musical taster of three nations:

Johannes (NL)

Cenk Unis (TR)

Roy Verschuren (NL)

Filipa Lazary (PT)

The name “mmeltt” originates from the ‘melting pot’ of nationalities that Amsterdam is. Therefore, the idea behind mmeltt parties is to bring people together from all different walks of life, countries, shapes and sizes (as cliché as that might sound) and provide a common thread between each and every one of them: Great music in a cozy atmosphere.

Whether you’ve been “in the scene” for a while or you're a tourist that aimlessly ended up at the party, Jose and Roy (+ their guest djs) will make their best efforts to welcome you, entertain you and make you feel as free as a Bird of Paradise.

Come on Saturday 14th of April to Cue Bar and bring your friends- as Snoop Dogg once said: “It ain't no fun if the homies can't have none. ” ;-)

Time: 22.00-04.00
Entry: NONE - (sharing is caring)

MMELTT: Join Jose Ibanez & Roy Verschuren at CUE Bar on Thursday March 15th with special guest: DASSIVE

** Join us at Cue Bar for the 2nd edition of mmeltt for a party where you can expect to be taken into the depths of underground house music by Roy Verschuren & Jose Ibanez and special guest Dassive**

The idea of a unique collaboration between the Elevator Passion residents arose from the many occasions where they played together, but not yet explicitly in a project of their own. Now, the forces have combined and the duo will be playing back-2-back at different venues in Amsterdam throughout all of 2012.

Check them out:
Dassive
Jose Ibanez
Roy Verschuren

Get an idea of what to expect by listening to Roy and Jose's mix!

Time: 22.00-03.00
Location: Cue Bar on the Utrechtsestraat #16, Amsterdam
Entrance: NONE - (some of the best things in life come for free)
Don't forget to RSVP here
